Global L.E.A.D. brings on Director of Innovation
After a whirlwind tour to Brazil for the world’s largest student led, student run conference in 2008, it was decided that a keen business move for future growth would be to bring on the mastermind behind the 1,000 person conference with participants from over 100+ countries to work with Global L.E.A.D. That very person was Jen Wilson from Scotland. After countless conversations over Skype, a barrage of clever emails, and finally trekking her down we realized she was serving the world with stints already lined up in India, China, and across Southeast Asia. Lucky for us, she had a spot open on her calendar starting September 2009—so we went for it and the rest is history.
Jen arrives as the newest member of the Global L.E.A.D. team as our Director of Innovation. After finishing University in her teens, and traveling the world to see what was out there, Jen spent the last few years doing professional work in 10 different countries until she landed with Global L.E.A.D. to help drive innovation and growth with our company. Her worldly experiences are as much of an eye-opener for us as SEC Football games and Chick-fil-A sandwiches are for her. Overall we are happy to have her on board and look forward to her British accent adding credibility to our Southern drawl.
