We are glad you are considering our program for your son or daughter to participate in for Summer 2010. Our organization runs world class programs in amazing countries that provide life changing experiences for every participant. Below you can find more information about what to expect with Global L.E.A.D.
Safety: The safety of your son or daughter is our number one concern. From airport transfer and pickup, to safe and exclusive housing in upper class neighborhoods in each location, Global L.E.A.D. goes the extra mile to spend the money and provide support on the ground for each student participating so they will have the safest and most enjoyable experience possible.
Service: Simply put, this is a cornerstone of our program. Not only is Diplomacy part of our name but it is a part of everything we do. We work with local non-profit organizations who do exceptional work and engage each of our participants in life changing opportunities during their time overseas. Not only will students earn course credit but they will engage in something far more meaningful than their typical classroom coursework with Global L.E.A.D.
Course Credit: Global L.E.A.D. has a unique curriculum where students can earn 6 hours of upper level course credit from their university from two classes: Service Learning and the Arts and Sciences as well as Leadership and the Arts and Sciences. Global LEAD exposes our students to local leaders in each country to bring the lessons to life and flies in internationally recognized thought leaders, Pulitzer Prize winners, Hall of Fame coaches and speakers, as well as Global CEO’s to differentiate the courses from any other program.
Expert team: Our team has traveled to the far ends of earth, speaking to young leaders from more than 100 different countries to design Global L.E.A.D. Our curriculum is spearheaded by a University dean as well as an expert in service learning for close to 20 years. When it comes to providing a truly enriching global experience, our staff around the world and on the ground in each location is best suited to provide a truly international experience.
Innovative: Global L.E.A.D. is a new model to see, serve, and study abroad. Combing traditional education with eye-opening experiences in service and adventure we encourage our students to push beyond their boundaries, create their bucket lists, and start making a difference from day one of the program.
