Global L.E.A.D. Program, Inc. is a tax-exempt, 501(c)3 organization which is organized and operated exclusively for exempt purposes set forth in section 501(c)(3), and none of its earnings inure to any private shareholder or individual. The organizational mission set forth by Global L.E.A.D. is threefold:
1. Educational Advocacy: To create and lead conferences, seminars and other avenues to promote the ideals of Leadership, Education, Adventure and Diplomacy
Global L.E.A.D. Program is passionate about spreading the tenets of Leadership, Education, Adventure and Diplomacy. Therefore, we make it our job to continually invest in students. We work hard to deliver resume workshops, leadership training, service days and many other opportunities to students to promote service leadership on campus and beyond.
2. Social Outreach: Facilitate and finance sustainable development and social outreach projects in domestic and abroad communities
Service is a cornerstone of the Global L.E.A.D. Program and we believe it should be promoted at home and abroad. Theodore Roosevelt famously said, “Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.” We develop deep, sustainable relationships with communities to make meaningful, long-term impact.
3. Scholarship: Provide merit and financial need based scholarships for LEAD trips
We understand the power of study abroad, but we are also mindful of the related costs, which make the experience impossible for many students. To democratize the opportunity, we are focused on raising money to provide life-changing experiences to more students.
From a practical perspective, each of these focuses is an extension of our overall mission to “transform the trajectory of individuals’ lives through leadership, service and personal development”.
