University of Georgia Partnership

Forged from Global LEAD’s inception in 2008, the Global LEAD/University of Georgia partnership combines two organizations focused on creating more academically competent and globally-minded students.  Accredited through the Franklin College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Georgia, the courses leverage a unique experiential learning model which allows students to get the most out of their time abroad academically while also learning about the culture and themselves in the process.  Our Academic Director, Dr. Montgomery Wolf, leads a team of committed professors and teaching assistants who deliver the curriculum abroad each year.  Additionally, she chairs a curriculum committee to continuously ensure the courses are academically rigorous, culturally relevant and utilizing international best practices.

The University of Georgia, chartered in 1785, was the first state-chartered university in the US and today has sixteen colleges and schools.  Franklin College of Arts and Sciences was the first college at the University of Georgia and leads instruction to bachelor’s degrees in twenty-nine basic disciplines. The College attracts highly qualified professors, students and post-graduate students from across the country.

Global LEAD is very grateful to have our courses connected with such a highly esteemed University and College within the State of Georgia’s university system.
