Financial Policies

Deposit due at application ($500)

Late Fees:
A late fee of $50 will be added to any payment made after the due date, up to one week late.
A late fee of $100 will be added to any payment made more than one week late.

 

Refund Policy

Global LEAD’s refund policy is intended to provide transparent communication which allows you to make educated decisions.

 

Program Fees: TBD

 

Group Flight Payments: All group flight deposits and payments are non-refundable.

 

Care Packages and Cell Phone Rentals: All care packages and cell phone/SIM card rentals are non-refundable.

 

Additional Adventure Activities: All additional adventure activities payments are nonrefundable. However, if the activity is cancelled due to weather or lack of minimum participants, Global LEAD will provide a full refund. If you decide not to participate in an activity that you have signed up and paid for, then no refund is provided.

 

Program Cancellation Policy:

 

If the program is cancelled due to an act of war or terrorism, State Department warning or other circumstances that make the program location unsafe, all monies not already dispersed to third-parties on behalf of the student will be refunded to each student.  For estimation purposes only, the following represents Global LEAD’s approximation of the percentage of the fees paid upon cancellation of the program as of a certain date, and does not constitute a guarantee of refund amounts:

 

Estimated Program Cancellation Refund Schedule:

 

Prior to departure: 50%

After departure: 25%

After 1/2 point of trip: 0%

 

If any emergency, weather delay or other unavoidable situation leads to a delay in a departure from or return to the U.S., the student is responsible for normal living expenses for the additional time spent in the U.S. or abroad and for penalties or costs related to changed airline tickets.
