Diplomacy

 

Global LEAD believes that “service should be a cornerstone of life”. We have established lasting relationships with service partners on the ground in each of our host countries, enabling you to partake in meaningful, valuable projects. In Cape Town, South Africa, we help create afterschool programs for children and families in an underserved township called Sir Lowry’s Pass.  While in Greece, we work with displaced refugee communities to improve their living conditions and better understand the tragedy of human trafficking. Finally, in Ecuador, we provide support and empowerment to an impoverished neighborhood and local school through programs and beatification projects.  Though we value exploring cosmopolitan cities and relaxing on stunning beaches, Global LEAD also shows you the immense need just beyond the city limits.

 

These projects deliver tangible improvements to the community as well as empower you through serving others.  While we help to improve quality of life and connect with the local families, you are positively impacted as well.  We hope that after feeling the power of making a difference to one individual, you will be motivated to experience that satisfaction at home. Application is everything; the Global LEAD lessons emphasize bringing the service element home and enacting change in your own community.
